• Quick-release fasteners on the filter and chip bag: the container gets emptied as often as it should be when emptying it does not need a spanner.
• For milling, planing and sawing chips: this is a chip extractor and the record says so plainly — it is not the machine for fine dust, and that is worth knowing before it is bought.
• Chassis fitted as standard: a wheeled base that came with the machine is stiffer than one added to it afterwards.
• Suction unit rotates through 180°: the duct can come in from above or below without a single extra fitting.
• Steel fan wheel: a metal impeller holds its balance against chip impact where a moulded one erodes out of true.
