- H3 dust-tested, residual dust content below 0.1 mg/m³: that is the figure that decides whether the air going back into the room is cleaner than the air that left it.
- High extraction capacity on a small footprint: the two things an extractor is normally traded off against each other, and this is the machine that refuses the trade.
- Large inspection openings: a blockage is cleared through an opening you can reach into, not by dismantling the housing around it.
- Large mobile chip container with clamp and collecting bag: a container that wheels out is a container that gets emptied; one that has to be lifted is one that gets overfilled.
- Delivered fully assembled: it works on the day it lands; nothing is waiting on a fitter.
- Aluminised polyester fleece filter medium: a coated medium sheds its cake instead of clogging into it, which is what a long service life actually means here.
- Washable filter medium: it goes back in rather than being replaced, and the filter is most of what an extractor costs to own.
- Filter loading watched on a differential-pressure gauge: a warning light on the switch box says the filter is loading before the extraction rate at the machine does — which is the point at which it is still cheap to act.

- Extraction nozzle swaps from left to right: the machine turns to suit the ducting instead of the ducting being run to suit the machine.
- Mobile across the range: an extractor that moves to the machine serves three machines; one that does not serves one.
- Not rated for sanding dust: the manufacturer says so plainly, and it is worth knowing before the machine is bought rather than after: sanding dust is the fine fraction a chip extractor is not built to hold.

- Quiet in operation: an extractor runs all day beside the operator, so its noise is added to every other machine in the shop.
- Collision protection as standard: a mobile extractor lives in the traffic of a workshop and gets hit; this is what stops a knock becoming a repair.
- Rated for commercial use: duty rating, not power, is what separates a shop extractor from a domestic one.
- Galvanised steel housing: the coating is on the inside as well, which is where the abrasion and the moisture in extracted air actually are.
- Anti-static filter, tested to M-BIA: wood dust builds a static charge as it moves; an anti-static medium is what keeps that charge from finding an ignition source.
